wow. I just got caught up on your blog, and wow. I can't believe that. I'm so glad that you are all ok, and I can't imagine what those other families are going through. You were all so blessed, and all I can hope is that the families that lost their boys will also be so blessed with peace. Thanks for sharing.

I'm going to Girl's Camp next week and I'm worried about the weather - especially in the light of the boys that were killed.

How humbling to know that while some are spared, others are not. We truly don't know our day or time do we?

I also wanted to say that I come across your blog weekly in my google alerts as I look for my name - Carrie Craft. So - you're a Carrie and you do crafts. I'm a writer so I'm looking for mentions or what articles people are linking to.

What caught my eye this week is that I read about your Girl's Camp experience which means one thing - that you're LDS. I am too! So - small world and all that.

I'm a few days behind. I had no idea you were at the camp site the week before...shoot, I didn't even realize you were going to Girl's Camp this year. I'm so glad to hear that the storms split and went right around you. My YW look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them that we always had rain and tornadoes every year at Girls Camp. I remember always having to pack in under that main pavillion and keep all the 1st years from freaking out...and the flooded tents..and sleeping the parking lot b/c someone stole my bed. The joys/blessings of Girls Camp!

Wow, I thought it was scary that we are so close to the camp, but that you were just there...I'm glad the storms missed you last week! I remember going to girls camp and running to the lodge during a warning when I was a youth. (I grew up in the Lincoln stake, but we never went to the Little Sioux camp) It is scary!
